Thailand Tourist Visa Requirements

To obtain a tourist visa for Thailand, you need to provide the following documents:

1. Original Passport

   • Requirement: Must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Thailand.

2. UAE Residence Visa

   • Requirement: Must be valid for at least three months from the date of application.

3. Passport-Sized Photos

   • Requirement: Two recent passport-sized photos with a white background. (Photoshoot services available at our office.)

4. No Objection Certificate (NOC)

   • Requirement: Addressed to “Royal Thai Embassy – UAE,” including your salary and job position. (Free sample NOC available at our office.)

5. Bank Statement

   • Requirement: Recent bank statement for the last three months.

• For Investors: If your UAE residence visa states “Investor,” a copy of your valid UAE Trade License is required.

Visa Types and Validity

• Single Entry Tourist Visa: Allows a stay of up to 30 days in Thailand.

• Multiple Entry Tourist Visa: Valid for six months, allowing multiple entries into Thailand.

• Visa Validity: Generally, the visa has a 90-day validity period with up to 30 days of staying.

• Normal Processing: Approximately 4 working days.

• Do UAE Residents Need a Visa?

  • For Emirati Citizens: UAE citizens can visit Thailand without a visa under the Visa Exemption Program. They can stay for up to 30 days as tourists and can extend their stay for an additional 30 days at any local immigration office, totaling up to 60 days.

• How Long Does a Visa Take?

  • Processing Time: Typically 5-10 working days. Expedited processing may be possible within 2 working days, though this is not guaranteed.

• Required Bank Balance

  • Minimum Bank Balance: Evidence of sufficient funds is required. Generally, a balance of at least 20,000 Baht (approximately 2,044 AED) per person or 40,000 Baht (approximately 4,088 AED) per family. For some cases, a higher amount may be required, such as 60,000 Baht (approximately 6,132 AED) per person or 120,000 Baht (approximately 12,264 AED) per family. Only original bank statements and solvency letters are acceptable.
